Nope, you stereotyping. Federal Hill has ALWAYS been white neighborhood. WAS a middle class white neighborhood (There are some million dollar homes). It is NOW an upscale white yuppy neighborhood. Mostly newly graduated young college kids.
Kevin Plank opened his Under Armour head quarters in this same area. It's the Federal Hill/Locust point area.
Cowardly black teenage thugs prey on stupid brain washed white kids from instituions of higher liberal learning. White kids are not armed with knives and guns, fall victim to the lies taught to them in college. Thugs know this and travel into this affluent neighborhood and make racist attacks on white kids, they know white college boys and girls not armed...There's been another racist attack following this one.

The family of a white man who was assaulted on Aug. 21 believe that he was a victim of a hate crime, CBS Baltimore reports.

The unnamed 25-year-old victim was walking home from his lifeguarding job in the Otterbein neighborhood of Baltimore when he was allegedly attacked by three black teens.

According to The Baltimore Sun, the teens shouted “Hey white boy” and “What you got?” at the victim. A rock was thrown at the victim’s face, and according to police, one of the teens tried to stab him with a pocket knife. The victim dodged the knife.

The teen suspected of the attempted stabbing, identified as 19-year-old Sidney Joyner, was arrested and currently faces charges of armed robbery, robbery and two counts of assault.

But the victim’s father, who also is unidentified, thinks that Joyner should have been charged with a hate crime, citing the “Hey white boy” line.

“If roles were reversed, it definitely would be no question whether it was a hate crime or not,” the father told CBS Baltimore.

When CBS Baltimore asked the police why there was not a charge for hate crime, they referred them to the city state’s attorney’s office. That office told CBS Baltimore that police can make initial charges but the city state attorney can add more charges after the investigation is complete.

Eleven stitches were needed for the victim’s lip, and plastic surgery will be needed as well.


Joyner is also a suspect in an incident from the night before, in which another lifeguard was attacked walking home by a group that shouted “What are you doing white boy?” and punched him in the mouth.

a street crime is a lot different than the state murdering innocent citizens in cold blood...and I am the fiercest critic of criminal behavior...and it could have been racial but personally I can't swear on it...

When racial designations are verbally observed during crime and victim is brutally assaulted and out numbered four to one...it is not racially motivated? If it was four white guys that attacked one black guy...would you not swear on it?

And, I was the first to post on Furgussen, and I think the police are out of control, so we agree on that issue.

I'm a firefighter. You don't have a clue as where firehouses are located in Baltimore city, do you? They are smack dab in the middle of neighborhoods. I presently work 24 hr shifts. I live in the neighborhoods while I work. I eat there, I sleep there. I shower there...I interact with the citizens I serve. I AM A CIVIL SERVANT. I put band aids on the children when they scrape their knees, I put their bicycle chains back on their bikes when they fall off, I put air in their tires. I install smoke detectors in the homes. I also try to save their lives when I respond to the shooting and stabbings and find the butchered bodies in the gutter...And, that's in between extinguishing the fires in their homes...Yeah, ok, I'm misguided and ignorant.

You need to re read what I posted. I said that newly graduated college kids occupied most of the area of FEDERAL HILL IN BALTIMORE, THIS IS WHERE THE ATTACK(S) OCCURRED BY THE BLACK THUGS ON THE WHITE COLLEGE KID(S). (the attacks are increasing)

I never mentioned he or any other college student was "angelic", but compared to the black thugs he was probably a fricken saint.

But anyway, we will just disagree on this issue and this is just another example of whites and blacks seeing things in a different light, regardless...respect.
