impacting jamaica.. i get mixed responses when I ask other jamaicans...I assume dat if it bad ya it must be x times as bad a yawd..but someone pointed out to me that is an arrogant american view point (me paraphrasing) my cousin who owns a business a yawd has the very pragmatic attitude of "wha fe do but gu chro"

me finally ask her if when de exchange rate get really bad do employers adjust their worker's salary..she sey if it get really bad employees may give a likkle summen..but dem under nu obligation to do so

anecdotally ..i was speakin to bredrin who in real estate up here and in Jamaica..him sey nuttin much a go on her e...people mostly sitting on the fence and waiting things not moving ..but him sey things moving in Jamaica him have a few deals on the go right now.
