But that's the said reason why they locked her off. In this economy, if she should loose her job, she may be forced to live off a credit card. Usually most people find jobs relatively quickly, and are able to pay down the card once they are back on track.

The card's intended purpose is a potential big liability to the issuer.

I knew about the reduced limits, but I didn't know it was affecting credit scores. But that would make sense...although sometimes they reduce the limits for people that haven't missed a payment. They attribute the change to the bank being conservative and is no reflection of the person's payment history.

Jeez, 1/20/09 cannot get here soon enough.

Suh if yuh have one a dem card, use ie and pay ie off next month. </div></div> She is licky that is standard proctice for banks to close any crediot card that has not been used at least one in 12 months. I religously use some of mine once per year to keep them current.

first im hearing about it..let me go read up on it.

one thing i have always had a problem with is the differential rates based on scores.
