this is in response to a request to use a tract of land that contains a building that has been empty for a few years. The building will be razed and the intention is to develop affordable housing on the land to meet the state mandate for affordable housing in our town.

I still dont know why I should oppose it -- how should I respond to the nimby person?

Dear Mr Nimby

Why exactly are &quot;we&quot; opposed to affordable housing in our town? Are &quot;we&quot; proposing a &quot;no poor people allowed&quot; law? or are we offering an alternate location for the affordable housing?
