I don't get it first off Patrick Fitzgerald said tapes did not compromise Barack and his transition team with regards Blago’s alleged dealings.
Barack said hold on we will look into our dealings, then get to the public on it.
He finally releases a report which by the way was held up by Fitzgerald himself who asked that it not be released just yet and suddenly he can't be expected to examine himself?

He asked for a review who did you want to conduct the review?
It not a trial is a review.
As for him not tainted by Chicago Politics are you saying because to men are in a room and the other goes out the door, walks down the hall and kills someone, unbeknownst to the other, returns to the room, his deeds later is made public both men are culpable?

to me it seems like they are making it out to be more than what it is...
his enemies just want to link him in any way possible to wrong-doing;
obama will no doubt face serious issues once in office...
i don't think this is one of them

I am waiting for the tapes. To me it would hardly seem likely that a person and an organization that ran a USBillion$ Campaign during which time they did not even mention the Governor of Illinois once, is going to turn around and risk it all <span style="font-style: italic">(collecting wanting pennies on the dollar for a Senate Seat)</span>, entering into a conspiracy with the same guy that with his prior dealings with Rezko almost brought the whole show down.

Not only that Barack did not support too many down ticket Candidates in the Presidential Elections despite his personal popularity and the strength of his Campaign, which would have been a more forceful way of saying, “I want all my people in house and Senate”.
The more telling example of the of Barack's view on power is the amount of Democratic Senate Seats that he has actually put in danger of becoming Republican by his raids on the Senate to fill out his Cabinet.

I think the tapes will tell us what was going on and I would be surprised if Barack with so little to gain and so much to lose would have touched this thing with even the proverbial ten-foot pole.
