Brown Baggin' Yawd Food

I took a jar of Solomon Gundy along with some rice crackers to work today for my lunch.

The people at the next table formed a rebellion and asked me to leave the lunch room and perhaps finish my lunch in the board room 'cuase it was too smelly and they couldn't take it.

So I took it out to my car and ate it in the parking lot. In peace!

We have a couple of Newfies at work that sometimes smell up the lunch room with fish smell but as far as I know nothing has ever been said to them.

You ever have anyone tell you that your Jamaican food smell up the place at work or elsewhere?

mi used to get, "that looks/smells interesting"

but after telling 2 people to go straight to Hell a few years back...well no one makes comments about my food anymore.

oonu haffe admit dat anyting wid saltfish or salt mackeral inna ie smell a wey! (to the unaquainted nose anyway)

Mi brought in fish wan day, an dis Ja co-worker tap mi pan mi sholder an tell mi sey mi ah smell up di office. Dem can smell it several desk away. Dem mus si did volunteer har.

Mi haff tell yuuh though, dis Trini Indian guy nyam him pungent food every day an not ah soul sey nutten tuh him.
