i am a supporter of a man that helps to create a child (all though their 1 minute part...well... ), supporting his child.
in a <span style="text-decoration: underline">perfect</span> world...men would do that. but we all know that we dont live in such a world.
i know already that this is going to sound a way, but ultimately...i believe that <span style="font-weight: bold">it is a woman that makes the decision to have and take care of a baby. period.</span>
NO PERSON can make a woman have a child that she doesnt want.
So unfortunately, a woman must bear the burden of having to take care of the responsiblity when she make the choice. man or no man. father or no father.
A man can walk away because they dont have them. Period.
It is because woman have them, that women get the double standard, the looks, the hassle, the joy, the.... &lt;--- you fill in the blanks.
A woman should ALWAYS take into consideration that she may need to be able to take care of her child ALONE. No matter what the circumstances (the man could die, he could himself get disabled and therefore cannot work, etc.). We all know that many women (NOT ALL) only consider this after the man has walked, which I think is unfortunate. But again, it is the world we live in.
With that being said, I think that when a man walks away, many women dont do the child support route and they struggle because the fight just isnt worth it. Yes as maddening as it all seems.
Eventually the child grows up and sees...eventually...as the cycle of life goes...wutlass daddy gets what is coming to him.
A woman struggling isnt right, but again she made the choice to have the kid. It is what we inherit, being born woman.
Should a man get off...hellz naw.
But in the end...I think the man that doesnt do right by their children (financially and emotionally) always gets his.

I see it everyday...in my line of work, in society, the neighborhood, etc.
We all do.

Mi juss feel bad for this mother.

Blackstar Yuh know it takes two and it is not so simplistic, black &amp; white and one sided as you seem to portray... unless yuh just yanking our chain lol. It takes more than love to make a marriage work or couple to stay together, It takes sacrifice and compromise which both MUST make from time to time.

If a bloke isn't ready to have kids and pay child support, there are very inexpensive ways for him to avoid the trap that some women may set. That is the only point I'm making.

Here is what I think since you want to know

If you cannot afford to have a child and give the child what the child needs then doan lay down widout serious protection and be prepared to deal with the consequences if the contraception does not work. If you are not sensible enough to understand the cause effect aspect of procreation then do not do it.

Given that the child is here then it is the parents responsibility to do for the child. If the father does not want to be involved , the courts should then have him sign over his rights and for signing over his rights he agrees to donate a part of his salary forever to children's aid. That way the funds can be distributed equally for all children in need. If the man doan want pay den him cannot blame baby madda and baby. He can then now directly use the state as him excuse.

He and his baby muddah did nothing but fight and cuss each other, etc.
He went to court and when the judge called his case, the judge was suprised that it was my friend setting it up and not the other way around.
The judge really gave my friend some things to think about, enoh? things mi would neva even consider.
You know wah im tell mi friend?
He told him: <span style="font-weight: bold">No amount of money takes place of a parent</span>. Yes, the money makes things easier, but it doesnt parent.
The money most courts dictates a mother/father to pay is to one: purchase the material things the child needs and to two: punish the parent who would rather have a court do what they were to do themselves. Then he added up my friend assets, income, etc. and tell mi friend what im was to pay per month... it was A LOT. Then di judge asked if he felt his kid was worth that amount each month.
Of course mi friend seh no im pickney was worth more.
Mi friend sign di judgement and arrange for the money to tek outta im pay.

Mi friend never deal wid di pickney or di muddah again. But each month di pickney/mudda get the check from the state.

i get your reasoning and what you are trying to say, but i fugured if you are man enought to lay down, (condom or no condom pregnancy is posible at any point where there is sexual penetration) just like the female should be prepared for the consiquences the male should be prepared as well. it is a two way street.
sure enought money cant replace the parents but it is help for those who need it...me personally i dont believe in taking people to court especially if it should concern their own child...
