"By about 3 p.m., 4 p.m. everyone in the tri-state will be experiencing some precipitation. Most of it will be snow. As you head into central and southern New Jersey, you'll see a wintry mix, but everyone else will be seeing snow."
New York City, northern Long Island, and norther New Jersey will receive between two and four inches of snow. Southern New Jersey will get about an inch, and New York's northern counties can up to seven inches.
"<span style="font-weight: bold">Steady snow showers will continue through about 10 p.m." </span>Finch said. "The snow and wet weather continue through Sunday morning, and it's by about noon that we can finally say 'good-bye' to this system."
CBS 2 HD's Lonnie Quinn said "<span style="font-weight: bold">It looks like this will be the biggest snowstorm so far </span>this season for New York City."
