mi just arrive back innna Toronto yesterday after the most concerning flight exerience..
Suh last week after contantly chating bout it, mi decide fi book a ticket and guh see fi miself a place called (one of the) ground zeros of the American real estate crash.
Mi deh pon di phone wid be HS and youthfull days bredren. He has a medium sized housing development usiness in NY, and mi alwasy a try tell him dat fi di amount a money him put into aquiring land and building homes in NY, him could get 10 times the returns down south.
Suh Thursday night mi book mi ticket pon itrave200.com (word to unno.. DONT.. dem have the worst customer service. Just use dem site fi find the flights, then contact the carrier directly.. DONT BUY FLIGHT TICKETS FROM itravel200.com)
Ok.. suh mi call mi bredren and tell him.. Him decide fi book fi him ticket suh we both land around the same time. Me from Toronto to sw florida, him from Laguardia (new York) to sw florida.
As much as wi afocus pon di business at hand, wi both raise the concern a flying inna di wedder that was coming, but a guess we subconciously felt the less we talk bout it, the less its likely to happen.. In other words, wi neva waan set wi mouth pon it.

suh mi reluctantly and depressingly left Monday morning.
Sunday night, was interstingly deressing.
Mi had accidentally flooded the upstairs by leaving on the wash sink ( another word.. stay away from homes with upstairs laundry room
)
Mi had put in wan a mi favourite hoodies inna di tub fi wash. Mi nuh like wash mi "good" clothes inna di washer, cause mi believe the machine destroys the clothes. Suh mi cork the tub, turn on di pipe, and went downstarirs for what was to be a shot work out.. Totally forgot the pipe and flooded the washroom.
The genius builder had made a air vent in the floor suh the water got into the vents and flooded the ceiling.
Suh inna di night, mi had to guh to the walmart fi pickup some hardware to fix the damage mi cause and to prevent some.
Maan di place was like a winter armegedon.
Cowl desolate and windy.
Mi clean as much snow as mi could suh has to lessen the amount a ice mi would hafi deal wid when mi come back.
Spriking salts.. Top up wife's vehicle wid windshield washer, clear the windshield, and broke off as much ice as mi could from the windows that was preventing the windows from opening.
Then mi guh TRY sleep as mi had to be at the airport by 6AM
Suh set alarm fi 5AM wake up.
Finally doze off at around 3PM.. Phone rings at 4:30Am.. Smaddy wid some farin language a repeat someting. Mi sey "wrong number" dem repeat whey dem a seh..
Mi seh "This IS A WRONG NUMBER!" and mi hang up..
Mi decide fi trn off the ringer.. but mi was suh sleepy, mi instaed turned it UP .
2 mins later, the phone rings again.
Same person
Same thing them a repeat
Mi seh this is the wrong number and do NOT call this number again.
Him repeat himself this time a ask "fax? fax? Kanada? Kanada?"
Suh me guh inna mi Jamaican potwa " If you call dis xxxxxxxxxx numba again a gween bust a xxxxxx shat inna yuh xxxxxxxxx face!"
Dis time HIM hang up.
by di way sarry fi di language.. but try a get some sleep and dis ediat a call call u house inna unholy hours.. It was the worst thing at di worse time..

Wait.. 14A is availaible.. Thats unusual.. Its an exit row seat so its usually the first to go as it has larger leg room, I'm amazed its still available. You want me to put you in this seat?"
