No....I do not see Racism as the same as Colorism but a child of racism in the sense that it is mainly express in Jamaica by individuals holding on to the ideas that just being white or brown or clearer is a step up the social and or economic ladder and means to an end in and of itself.
The worst thing about Colorism is that some belief it is true and lend support to its misguided notions, thereby making a purely individual to individual issue among certain peoples
