idealogy vs philosphy

so me hear one a de pundit on fox say that Obama is unusual for a politician cause im believe a philosophy not an idealogy. It was stated as a positive not a negative...but den the speaker went on to say it would be an issue because everybaddy else is about pushing dem idealogy.

I thought that was an interesting observation. What say oonus?

Neither philosophies or ideologies are as concrete as policies but, at the very least, philosophies do have a component of pragmatism that ideologies lack.

depends on how dem defining each....isn't ideology just visionary theorising....so is hit r miss...an philosophy ha di idea of logical thinking

I thought that was an interesting observation. What say oonus? </div></div>It is easier to change ideologies that philosophers. Ideology is based on dogma,while philosophy is based on logical reasoning that manifest in different disciplines.
for instance a philosophy will be true across all fields of practice,while idologies are limited to certain areas ,but falls apart if transferred to others.
racism is an ideology, but equality is a philosophy
