the #1 thing i appreciate is the change of tone

and the lack of the ram it down your throat attitude

the GOP leaders almost looked shocked after their meeting with Obama today - like wow - he can walk and talk at the same time

too many years of dealing with bush and "get her done" talk

the GOP is going to have to come up with ideas and real arguments if they don't agree

i don't think saying joe the plumber wouldn't like this is going to work anymore

everyone like each of our elected officials during the first week after they got in office the first time.
everyone also got along and promised 'to reach across the ailse'.
Give it 6 months.

i was so glad to see him get on that helicopter and fly away

waaaay too early to start judging anything;

after all bush was the most popular man in america after 9/11;

now- not so much...

although i doubt obama will ever sink to those type approval rating numbers that bush had at the end

I like everything about the first week, including omissions and more gas mileage for cars.
He hit the office running to make the changes he spoke of.
I'm giving him MORE than a chance.
He's reached out to the people and they have responded.
He's explaining everything and giving the people information that they never received over the last 8 years during the Bush years.
I look forward to the news every night to see what he has done during the day. Now, that has never happened with me before.

Yeah,he`s making all the right noises I have always expected from a leader,but has never heard,lets just hope the actions live up to the talking,...but I do fear for his life though the more he pushes back fronteers,....there are always powerful people who may feel their interests are/may be threatened.
