<span style="font-weight: bold">frankly i can see wid dis man pon a level..many a time i have to ask people to repeat demselves as i dont understand mumbling...more an more people who supposedly speak english , an who work in service industry, speak a language dat is more an more hard to decipher....an gawd help mi wid di heavy accents an the inability to understand outside the answers on the cue sheet infront of dem ..di speaking white ting is ovadone cause nuff a dem cant speak eida but mi tyad a di mumbling miself</span>

First off, I agree with you about the mumbling.

OTOH, her employers could have said simply that she didn't speak clearly enough, over-use slang, etc. That would have gotten the message across, unless restaurant management is so inarticulate themselves that they could only come up with racist slurs to describe her speech patterns...
