I think these people are disrespectful and are a bunch of hypocrites. I think one should respect leaders of a country and this shoe throwing incident is nothing to laugh at. This is why America needs to pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan. Let these people deal with their own country. They have hundreds of American soliders dying in their country for them to have a chance at democracy. If it wasn't for Bush and the US troops going in and ousting Saddam these people would be still under the dictatorship of Saddam and I bet not one of them would ever throw a shoe at Saddam. He would ensure that their entire family line would be tortured and murdered

besides which, you do realize it was Bush who WANTED to go into Iraq, and conveniently forgot certain things, like saying there were no weapons inspections while weapons inspectors were already in the country, and then the lark of saying we are freeing the iraqi people from tyranny, then saying something like 'bring 'em on!' which is to say, better there than here, which is to say what are supposedly ideals are really just inconveniences and the US just invited tyranny right back into the country. Better for Iraqis and US soldiers to get targeted than the homeland.

or allowing the rape of their cultural legacy and descent into civil war.
