... if your company asked you to sign an agreement stating that you agree to take three unpaid days off during 2009 to help the company cut cost and PERHAPS avoid further layoffs (no guarantees that there won't be more layoffs). Would you sign it?
I think it is up to the individual and company, but if it was up to me, I would like to see a little proof in earnings, projections, profit and loss statements.
In addition to your input I was thinking along the lines of emailing the President and asking him if he can provide the workers with some info regarding he and other top execs in the company turning down bonuses etc... . I find it highly unfair for them to ask us "little people" to sacrifice while they just end up pocketing the savings.
Other than that I have no issue with taking three extra days off without pay. Like stated, I can use some extra time off, especially in July and August.
