"Double Ugly" found dead

Image The body of a man was found with gunshot wounds in Rocky Hole, Burnt Savannah in Westmoreland Saturday morning.

About 6:30, residents stumbled upon the body of Junior Hamilton, otherwise called "Double Ugly", on a dirt track close to his house.

Investigators who went to the scene said the 34-year-old labourer had been shot and his head bashed in.

The Frome Police who are investigating say residents reported hearing explosions in the area sometime after 2 o'clock.

According to the police, Mr. Hamilton was wanted for questioning in relation to the murder of Michael Kerr.

Mr. Kerr was found dead on the Burnt Savannah Main Road on Monday, February 2.

The 39-year-old man was shot several times while on his way to a nearby shop.
