Are you flippin kidding me? I never heard Lemon say those words or that he said those words. This thread is about burning and looting. The song is about burning and looting and this is a Jamaican website so the song fits.

Unlike some people, when the name Bob Marley is mentioned, herb is not the first thing that come to MY mind.

In the UK I have heard the conservative deputy prime minister Micheal Heslitine admit that it was the burning and looting in the 80's that made them change their policies and populariuse the concept of multculturalism...and it pushed front and center the living conditions and the development of sink communities in the uk...

And, they did not burn or loot a white community. Because it would not be tolerated. There would have been much bloodshed. Its unforunate, but we are ripe for a race war, if these actions move into white communities.

Most white folk think that the police are out of control, but burning communities is not the way to win others over to your side or see your point of view...it accomplishes just the opposite.

So I just read the Michael Brown incident on Wikipedia. Previously (a few days ago), I had read something about Officer Wilson, his childhood and the Ferguson Police Department.
In all the postings about the incident (except for the Pat Robertson Thread) and protests this is actually first time I have tried to get an overstanding of what this about.

I think the relationship between Ferguson Government is poisoned beyond redemption.
I thing the Ferguson Police Force is not a very well run organization, which is not surprising, since the Governmental Bureaucracy is at least discriminatory, if not overtly racist.

My conclusion is. The Grand Jury did the correct thing in not indicting Officer Wilson.
I think the stopping of the two men was justified. Officer Wilson using his gun to protect himself was justified. I think the killing of Michael Brown was unjustified, because Office Wilson having shot Brown to stop him from attacking him showed poor judgment by getting out of his vehicle, chasing the wounded suspect and shooting him multiple times.

It would have been obvious, by the time of the first couple of shot, that Michael Brown had no weapon(s), or not any that threatened Officer Wilson. So in my mind all the Police had to do was to call backup and wait, but that is going against how police operate in the USA, Jamaica and many other countries.

I think Officer Wilson should be disciplined and never allowed to work as a cop again. Of course that wont happen, because as I said it going against the grain of how the Police operate in the USA.

BTW..If this was Jamaica, I wager, many commentators would agree with Officer Wilson, lighting up Michael Brown. This is dichotomy in which we as immigrants exist. Because we live in a somewhat more civilized nation than the place we ran away from, we expect (even insist), on more humane, less racist, less confrontational Governmental Agents.

Blugiant. I lost all respect for Peter Tosh when he recorded the songs Legalize it and Oh BC Oh RC. Totally uncalled for.

He also had an aggressive and intimidating manner of speaking that I didn't care for....but he called me once and played a trick on me so I guess he did have a sense of humour.
