When I first came on here and started to talk about racial issues....and I used to talk about them a lot... I was attacked. I wasn't the only one either. Anyone who tried to discuss and raise awareness about racial issues was attacked.
Person after person swore up and down that things were peachy keen and wonderful south of the border or that we were just making things up.
Given what has transpired over Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown...given the fact that, last week, there was a constant battle on the streets of major US urban centres...given the fact that Blacks and Whites are divided on the issue of race and battling it out on social media....given the fact that America is on the verge of a race war.....I wouldn't be human if I didn't say "I told you so."
Is there hope?
