we are discussing both these options currently where i work. i'll be p o'd if it comes to that BEFORE they shed some more fat. i can easily look around and see jobs we are still preserving for no smart business reason.
i don't mind pitching in and taking some days off unpaid, but it's unfair to think they can just whack your pay 20%, and expect you to continue to work the same amount of hours. some of the lower paid folks will NEED the option to take other jobs to fill that gap.
sad fact is....none of this is within my control.
i might enjoy spending more time at camp this summer, this will be a good chance to try out part-time work. that's it...i'm going to camp and make lemonade~!
