I do agree with your opening even without the correction.

It is the rest I dont quite feel to be honest. It kind of objectifies interracial coupling. I dont believe same race or mixed race coupling is better or more lovely to view....I just believe ppl have the right to make their own choices as long as it is not at my expense.

I don't think it does. People will chose whomever they want to couple with regardless of race, hopefully because they love and genuinely feel comfortable with that person, and whatever comes after that - social, aesthetic - then so be it.

It might be a matter of context and delivery of the sentiment to a degree...I like dark skin too but I am also black woman. Varying degrees of the same color in a sense.

But if the motivating reason for someone wanting saddle up next to you is the contrast I still wouldnt feel good in my spirit about it. There are too many other sub-currents that can possibly go with that.
