Two earthquakes hit the Blue Mountains of Jamaica this morning.
The University of the West Indies (UWI) Mona Earthquake Unit reported that the first struck in the Blue Mountain sub-area near Westphalia at 7:23 am with a magnitude of 3.7 on the European Macroseismic Scale (EMS) and a focal depth of 5 kilometres.
A second smaller earthquake followed in the Blue Mountain sub-area at 7:46 am with a magnitude of 3.2 EMS and a focal depth of 5km. The impact of this second quake was felt in Liguanea, St Andrew.
