Anybody Evah Use Priceline's Name Your Price Feature

I am trying to see if I can get a good hotel deal. But of course you have to input your credit card info before they tell you if your asking price was accepted.

I put in for a 4 star hotel, because sometimes 3 stars can be so-so. So I am thinking bidding on a 4 star room is a safe bet.

Mek me google dem and see if me can fine anything in the meantime.

I've never used it but I know people who do and they don't have a problem with it.

Me wouldn't use it for a full travel package. But I am looking at just a two night hotel stay.

I used priceline for air. and would never again use it.

We wanted to go from NY to Seattle. It took us over 15 hrs. The amount of connection flights were horrible. And of course you don't know until you purchase.

Hotel is a different story though.

Good luck. hmmm wonder if they would put you in a one star instead of 4????

I found a webpage where peopel left comments.

Seems Priceline has terrible cust serv. Most people seemed to have received what they asked for, except it wasn't exactly in the area they asked for. One person complained that the hotel was 25 miles away from where he requested.

The main problem people seem to have is not being able to confirm the reservation with the hotel. Even though the reservation could not be confirmed, the credit card is charged.

Seems like if you are booking in a big tourist area, Orlando, Vegas, etc, you have a better chance of getting what you expect.

yep..have used it fi airline ticket and hotel...i usually go low an fi di most pawt u finally come to a middle grung...afta all , if u willing to gi u credit card, dem not willing to lose a bird in the hand so to speak

wid the airline ticket i have neva been disappointed...ongle once did the hotel ting mek mi mad...wen deciding to stay at di hotel fi a couple days more, i was able to get $100 more off on the room price from di front desk, than priceline ...
