Genes don't lie and DNA studies suggest that Negritos are more closely related to Asian populations that African. Given enough time then, yes, all populations originate in Africa but the point is that appearance alone is a poor indicator of this biologically irrelevant notion of &quot;race.&quot;

Sammy Davis Jr. and Rod Carew (Hall of fame baseball player) were Jewish too. The point is a religion has nothing to do with the perceived yet biologically irrelevant notion of &quot;race.&quot; She may well have African roots and there also exists the possibility that she has no immediate African roots. Both outcomes are plausible and until an examination of DNA markers is conducted, neither possibility can be excluded. that sounds wrong somehow. certainly there can be times when appearance determines a racial classification. if smaddy have nappy hair and darkish skin (compared to smaddy else) then that ought to be enough appearance to give a clue to &quot;racial&quot; classification. not everything is locked away in DNA and imperceptible to the naked eye.

If &quot;race&quot; is defined purely from a cultural stand point (and it is) then yes all of them can be assigned the term &quot;black&quot; but all of them can also be assigned the term &quot;white&quot; if an Australian Aborigine is making the designation. Cultural definitions are entirely subjective. There may be a consensus among a large population making a judgement call but what one group of people classify as a given &quot;race&quot; is by no means universal throughout the world.

There are no univeral absolutes across each an every society around the world....answers are relative when physical attributes are used to classify a group of people. Not only is a cultural definition of race relative but it also changes over time.

I am a scientist and we were never half apes. However, evidence presented in the form of an extensive fossil record, morphological studies with a nearest primate cousins and genetic studies comparing and contrasting our genes with those of primates suggest that modern homo sapiens and modern apes once shared a common ancestry.
