Not at all, they are quite valuable for what they are and their original intent. European research was not one of their original intent.

If this technique worked why are these researchers not coming up with the same things?
Historical records? Even all these 3D constructions of ancient Egyptian is nothing but art.

To you as a person of keen interest on the subject, how does this Egyptian art help you? Because I do not see how it prevents the Europeans from lying.

once again as per usual, your logic escapes me;
the sphinx and other stone sculptures, as well as paintings portray the people as they appeared in that time...thereby making it harder for those who would give them another identity...that's how it helps...the fact that i can use my god-given eyes to see monuments of the people as they depicted themselves...
thank god jamaicans also leave art &amp; monuments (statues, etc.)...or else 3 thousand years from now someone would be able to lie about who we were...we didn't make the art for european scholars either...we made it it to celebrate who we are and our culture....same reason the ancients did it...see ras daniel hartman's 'dreadlock trinity'

I thought she was black. Scientist, Historians, Religious Scholars and Archeologists came together and proved that the original Egyptian dynasty were Nubians.

Recent tombs/statues were found in 2007 that confirmed even further the already concrete evidence that the Egyptian dynasty were 'blacks'. I posted the finding of the new evidence back in 2007. Don't know if that thread is still on here. The BBC televised an extensive and detailed documentary on Egyptian history and all the scientist, scholars and archeologists featured in the film confirmed it and was in agreement. Each of them were well renowned and respected in their field. They even proved that the Egyptian dynasty and society owed a lot of their success by borrowing heavily from what Ethiopia had to offer. So Ethiopia should be as well commended as Egypt is today because Ethiopia was ahead of Egypt in the beginning.

You need to read up on other Pharoahs besides Tutankhamen like Akhenaton, Amenhotep and Thutmose III to name a few.

I have no doubt that years from now, Bob Marley's identity will become a subject of discussions just like the Egyptians.

That comes over patronizing.

Anyways I am into culture representation and its management. You have to respect cultures. I can swear an Egyptian sees himself as just that, neither does he need anyone to tell him who he is. All people with an established history that they are proud of, will identify with it.
Now imagine me go a Ghana go tell dem, 'Big Up Ethiopia, Big Up Egypt, pyramid prove say them not dumb after all' What would I be doing?

Well Moreforus a say something must be convincing for them to be acknowledging that the Egyptians were black. It is not something it is someone. That is why action is needed an tap play parrot, thanks to a Senegalese researcher, Cheikh Anta Diop, these white researchers are putting his theories to the test. I do find bias in some of his writings which is to be expected based on his own origin.

Back to the art thing. No one can deny that the Egyptian is/was of African and Asian influences. Funny I have not seen until now a direct concentration on these influences individually.
Had this been done, there would be no question whether these pyramid is an African construction.
The Egyptians are handled so remotely that the topic is whether they are black or not. Needless to say that Europeans identify with the works of Egypt as evidence of their own civilization.

Are there no African cultures which have the same symbolism as the Egyptians and their pyramids? Anyhow one way of thinking will go looking for a pyramid elsewhere and if not found, no pyramids
Are there no other African cultures with variant theories on the pyramid connection to the cosmos? In fact this would be deliberate because such is well known. The same people with both the geometry of pyramids have the same knowledge of the heavens. But then again some researchers claim they originate from Mesopotamia.

I am really curious to find out how much one of these murals can tell, unless all we are looking for is their skin colour

According to Diop the ancient Egyptians were of two phenotypes. Owing to limitation of either artists I am seeing one phenotype per image.
