I don't know her but it seems weird to me that one would fall (without hitting any objects or other people) at the bottom of an easy hill (in an area the newspaper reported to as being called The Flats) and suffer a lethal injury.

Perhaps she had a mild aneurysm that caused her to fall in the first place, and then another more serious one. I don't think the skiing had anything to do with it in this case.

I wonder if she did hit her head on something under the snow and didnt realize it - or the other around her didnt notice.

plus it depends on how and where she hit her head. Certain spots might cause more swelling and later damage than it first appears. I guess tha tis why after head injuries they tell you to keep waking up the person and checking their breathing and such.

yeah, I dont know. I would assume brain dead is just a fancy way of saying dead for true

if she is in a coma like some news outlets are sating then maybe she does have some hope.

but I would guess brain dead - there isnt much coming back from that. Restoring brain function would be impossible.

mind you my knowledge is based on all the ER episodes I have watched over the years

head blows are dangerous.. Doc will come and give your the wearfore hopefully.. but I beleive the brain swells due to bleeding and cause an increase in pressure and it shuts down... It happens alot in boxing... I beleive they now imobilise the head and releive the pressure.. My great granfather use to do that in jamaica to head injuries.. it is an accepted procedure since antiquity..

I liked her and Liam is a favorite actor of mine.. so

I've skied the bunny hill (easy hill) at Mount Tremblant several times. It is a long hill yes, but it is very VERY gentle in slope. I can't believe a fall there, especially by someone wearing a helmet could cause this to happen. There must have been some pre-existing condition and maybe the fall just triggered it but I doubt this was caused solely by her falling on that hill.

latest reports are that she is brain dead and has been flown to ny for her family to say goodbye before she's taken off life support.

celebrity deaths dont illict more than - this is sad out of me normally.

but this one seems to get under my skin for some reason. Might be she isnt too much older than me and she had a genuinely cool persona off-screen. She has that sophisticated but earthy quality to her.

guess I shouldnt write her off too soon but I dont think this will turn out otherwise.

I remember when she talked about the size of Liam's gigantic anaconda on some talk show.....she was cool as a cumcumber talking about it but the host was a bit rattled by the confession
