Man shot dead in Kingston 11

A 20-year-old man was shot dead by gunmen at Lower Mall Road, Kingston 11 yesterday.
Dead is Ricardo Johnson otherwise called 'Ricky Trooper', a store clerk and resident of Lower Mall Road.
Police said that at 11:15 am, Johnson was at his home at Lower Mall Road talking with a friend when a grey motor car with three men aboard drove up. After a brief talk, an argument developed between Johnson and the group, after which they went back to the car and drove away.
Shortly after, the car returned to the location and the occupants opened fire hitting Johnson. The police were summoned and he was taken to the Kingston Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Hunts Bay Police who are investigating have an interest in four persons whom they believe can assist in the investigation.

Dead are Lyndel Brown, 40, a taxi operator of Seaview Gardens,
The police report that at about 9:15 p.m., Brown, who plies a taxi from Half-way Tree to Three Miles,
loaded his Toyota Corolla with three male passengers heading from Half-way Tree.
Fired two shots
The police say upon reaching Olympic Way near Three Miles,
one of the passengers in the back fired two shots,
one of which caught Brown in the back of the head,
causing the car to lose control and slam into a utility pole
Two 9 mm spent shells were found in the vehicle.
Brown was taken to the Kingston Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Hunts Bay Police who are investigating have not established a motive for the killing.
