just to say in our Protractor and T-Square sets are some tools that could be condidered dangerous or could even be lethal if used as weapons ..
probably moreso than a snub-nosed scissors ..

From reading previous postings here and where else, some of these children carry these &quot;weapons&quot; for protection. It is sad but true. They might not necessarily carry them to use in school, but even to protect themselves on the way to and from school.

It is a sad time that we are living in, when children from whatever class or school [saw a documentary where a school in Denham Town was raided and about 400 knives confiscated] have to resort to this.


Who asked the kwestian about why there are no &quot;metal detectors&quot; in alll schools in Ja...considering the violent climate that exists there?&quot; 'N guess wha?.. someone might just answer that a child's life is not worth as much as a metal detector...
