Did he not go into this knowing full well what the consequences were? Did he need the money? Or was it to satisfy his own greed and the greed of his friends.
Its another instance of a know it all role model, thinking only of himself and NOT of the youth that look up to him & thinking he could do anything he wanted without suffering the consequences . Greedy azzzz football hasbeen. He lied (and got caught), he crossed state lines (RICO) and bet thousands of dollars on a sport thats cruel, inhumane and tortured dogs for the fun of it. i am always amused to hear white people tawk bout blacks being role models as if dem, blacks, r accepted as role models fi white children across di board....di ongle time dem , di whites wi mention anyting re/dat blacks being role models is wen dem blacks <span style="font-style: italic">act up</span> an all of a sudden , u r to believe dat mummy an daddy always point out Sojourner etal as positive role models for dem likkle dahlings...yeah rite....if black history was so paramount in social life as an everyday ting, even now, we would have more dan athletes as 'role model' reference...dont?

I'm for handing out the harshest possible punishment for savagery. We cringe when the victims are our fellow human beings, but the fact is that most of us have not even the slightest regard for sentient beings in the way we live, eat, and in Vick's case, how he entertained himself.
