The wife of Nelson Mandela and former education minister of Mozambique, Graca Machel, has attacked what she described as the &quot;moral bankruptcy&quot; of governments who've made repeated promises to lift people out of poverty.


Speaking before a meeting of business leaders in London, which is discussing investment in health in developing countries, Mrs Machel said it was &quot;simply unacceptable to allow lives to be wasted&quot;.

Mrs Machel urged the leaders of 20 industrialised nations to show bold leadership when they gather in London later this week.

She criticised governments for finding hundreds of billions of dollars to save banks and companies when, she said, more modest amounts had been requested during the past two decades to help save lives in developing countries.

</div></div>She get fooled too. If she think that they can benefir with ownership of the countries lands in th ehands of the same colonialists, she can keep talikng. Africa has to create real partnerships worg Hiina. partnerships that increase theior alternatoive energy infrastrutrure for a start. They shoild be meeting with China now while China needs thr market to keep their people employed and grow theor economy..

and buy altrnative energy systems and system manufattiring plants. create water systems that uses alternative energy to power them. and then start from there. If they pstart with that,And then arm the population.
Since we know that they will jav eto fight to keep it. since the ones that hold the power will not give it up wothout a fight.

They had to fight to get wher they are. they don't expoect n9t to foight to progress.

one odda ?...do u see any irony in the fact that har husband became politically active due to his anger at white nurses being paid more dan black nurses bak in the day an yet wen he died in dat crash, his personal medical team dat died wid him were Cubans..... ..always wondered why di work to improve di homegrown neva negate his needing couple Cubans as him private doctors...sort of like Amin an his Scottish one
