She has anal cancer which is different and usually not prone to metastates. It usually responds to treatment well. Unfortunately, it looks like she may be the exception.

Report: Farrah Fawcett hospitalized

A cancer-stricken Farrah Fawcett was fighting for her life Sunday night at a Los Angeles hospital where she slipped into unconsciousness as relatives gathered at her bedside.

The former &quot;Charlie's Angels&quot; star, now 62, has been in an undisclosed hospital since Thursday, and <span style="font-weight: bold">her declining health has doctors fearing the worst.</span>
Fawcett's longtime lover, actor Ryan O'Neal, was at her bedside, the Web site Radaronline reported.

Fawcett has been ravaged by her second bout with a rare form of colorectal cancer since 2006. </div></div>

The family REALLY doesn't need this at this time.

Farrah's condition has worsened. Her 91 father has been flown in and her son Redmond has been given a temporary pass for release from jail to say his final good-bye. Ryan O'Neal is understandably devastated.

Farrah has now lost her famous mane of hair, Ryan confirmed.


Her weakend state affected son Redmond, who was allowed out of jail to visit her last month after a doctor wrote the court a note saying this could be the last time he sees his mother alive.


According to the mag, Ryan told Redmond not to rattle his jail shackles during his visit as they have not told Farrah that Redmond had been arrested again.

Farrah Fawcett, who skyrocketed to fame as one of a trio of impossibly glamorous private eyes on TV's Charlie's Angels, has died after a long battle with cancer. She was 62.

Fawcett died at 9:28 a.m. PST at St. John’s Heath Center in Santa Monica, Calif. She was with longtime partner Ryan O'Neal, friend Alana Stewart and her doctor Lawrence Piro. She had recently returned to St. John's for treatment of complications from anal cancer, first diagnosed three years ago.

i forgot about that role M. she played Diane Downs in the movie based on the book Small Sacrifices. i'd like to see that....the book was incredibly horrific.
