Maybe so. I don't know this man's circumstances, and I won't speculate. I find that few people, though, are willing to admit that making some bad choices led to poverty later. I know politicians in Jamaica won't say that; it's not a vote winner.

the premise is dat people have a choice....sadly, i have concluded dat over the years, the choice r availability of any choosing has diminished in Ja...fi real....widdout functioning economy, dere is no choice...trickle down disillusionment has been in force biggg time...but mi being parabolic per usual so like mi fren Wahalla would seh, no mind me

You will concede that in <span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="font-weight: bold">certain situations</span></span>, bad choices played a role. No?

goes widdout saying dat all have a choice in daily decisions....not all r equipped (in a myriad of ways ) to think beyond their immediacy, resulting in dire consequences fi dem victims an demselves...

I find it funny that first day there was a dispute as to whether the Board is just like Jamaica. Today serendipity proves that it is.
The same vibes that led to the Jamaicans attacking other Jamaica in the 70s because they thought they were led to believe that seemingly successful Jamaicans are the root cause of their problems still persist.
