i like the Old Ebbitt Grill
and there was a restaurant in the mall under the JW Marriott that was always delicious - as a single i would eat at the bar and chat to the bartender
check out the Fire and Ice store too - interesting stuff!Comment

I actually came across their site just a couple days ago...it's in a part of town called the Atlas District....it had been a pretty rundown neighborhood, but it's making a comeback: there's lots of bars, restaurants, etc. opening up...public transportation there is a little spotty (there's no Metro stop nearby), so a bunch of the business people there started a free shuttle...here's a link to the shuttle schedule.....
I'm gonna try and stop there at some point...if you can wait until May 4, I'll be able to tell you more
