Need advice please

<span style="color: #3333FF">Okay, so a friend is getting married. I really want to go to the wedding. Problem is, it's an 8 hour drive away and it's on a Sunday afternoon. She was at my wedding so I'll really feel badly if I don't go.

But it seems that my options are

1. leave home early Saturday to get there Saturday night, sleep over, attend the wedding but not the reception, drive home and arrive after midnight,

2. leave home late Saturday to get there Sunday morning, get a few hours of sleep, attend the wedding, drive home,

3. fly there and back same day

4. ?

Do they have commuter flights early in the am?


Maybe you could fly in Sunday morning go to the wedding &amp; reception stay in a hotel and fly back early Monday??

if you cant do that then go saturday mornig so you can have a good nights sleep for the long day sunday

3 - logistically it is the most doable option. I have done this many times before. The only consideration is the cost of the flight and a rental car.

<span style="color: #3333FF">I was just looking at flights and then I spoke to MrBlue. We've decided that we'll leave early Sunday morning, which should get us there just before the wedding, then drive back right after the wedding. We'll probably get home sometime after midnight, so I might go in a few hours late that Monday.

I would rather drive than fly and it's cheaper this way.
