Well, she's supposed to be smart. Doctorate in International Relations from Oxford (as Rhodes Scholar), McKinsey, former Assistant Sec'y of State in the Clinton Admin, Brookings Fellow, chief foreign policy advisor to the Obama campaign; if you ask me, she should have been Sec'y of State. Of course, we would have had another 'Rice.'

But will she be effective? That's the question. She couldn't manage to pull together a consensus in the UN Security Council last week regarding the N Korea missile situation. I'm curious to see how she will vote when certain resolutions are introduced at the UN condemning Israel's human rights violations.

lots of people have many degrees but few r as educated in the true sense of the word, and her command of the English language and her use of said shows the difference bet her an them

as to her viability...ongle deluded people continue to believe dat any one individual can still bring change to a system dat is so entrenched as the political system is in this country r any odda country...save fi despots

That's a shame when a bare minimum such as a command of the English language and clarity of thought means one is brilliant. SMH

As for the rest of your post, I completely agree. Institutions have been deliberately de-personalized so no one is responsible and no one can change them.
