THE Savanna-la-Mar Resident Magistrate's Court ruled Friday that three men are to face trial for the 2005 murder of hotelier Sandra McLeod.
The ruling comes after a four-year preliminary inquiry into the murder of McLeod, who operated the Sandy Sand Beach Hotel, now known as Merril's Three Beach Resort along the Norman Manley Boulevard in Negril.
McLeod, 52, was found strangled in a room at her hotel on June 5, 2005.

The three accused are Michael Grandison, Peter Bandoo and Desmond Blair. They were all granted $2 million bails with surety. The case is scheduled for mention in the Westmoreland Circuit Court on May 18.
The inquiry was conducted by attorney H Charles Johnson, who marshalled evidence for the prosecution. Some 23 witnesses gave evidence in the matter.
