Unions respond to the outrageous salaries paid to the upper management. The work is done on our backs, why should the upper management make all the profits when we do all the grunt work? My former b-i-l worked 12 hour days but the upper management gained the profits.

I am a teacher, I work 2 jobs to make a decent salary after 30+ years, but the superintendent makes over $200k+/year for going around glad-handing his fellow superintendents.

Judging by your cybernality (cyber personality) you would not enjoy the union thing one bit. You just don't strike me as the type who'd prefer to clock in and clock out at the exact same time every day, for lunch or end of day, UNLESS you getting paid for any extra time, even if it is 10 minutes extra to gather your things together to call it a day.

You also wouldn't enjoy just systematically turning the same screw into the same darn hole every freaking day at the same time, and if someone asks you to do something else (as there are no screws to screw for the moment) you run and complain about health and safety to your ALMIGHTY UNION.

You wouldn't like that type of authority, where you are TOLD by the UNION what to do and when and being brainwashed into thinking that if they threaten to strike due to a 5% raise, it is in your best interest. People like you are not miopic and easily fooled and you would want to know the truth, therefore, you would be kicked out of the union long time.

UNIONS are the death of Industrial America and the fools who work for and with them can't even see that their jobs are under threat just because of the unions. Old Fools eventually dies!

Where is the screwdriver at the car plant going to go and drive him screw when all him know is that screw and that hole? You know no cap fits all heads already right? Now if you want to think that what me said applies to everybody, then you are free to take it that way. Me think you know already that the people who don't fit the &quot;squealing&quot; mold who are affected by this WILL have no problems finding something else to do.

The ones who will struggle as me said in previous posts to MAXWELL SMART, (who happens to believe that anyone who does not rally behind unions is ignorant) are the ones like him put in long hours of overtime just to make money and not to make a difference in the company, and didn't think him would ever leave him cushy job to go find a real job.
