BOB MARLEY IS OF JEWISH DESCENT???

and had to ask some real yardies
if this is true

Located in Kingston, Jamaica. The Sha'are Shalom synagogue. a lot of people tend to ignore the Jewish minority of the Caribbean. another fact, <span style="font-weight: bold">Bob Marley is also of (Jewish)</span> descent. <span style="font-weight: bold">my dad, being like a, Lebanese/Syrian Jamaican told me that bob and his family descend from the same place as us, i never really believed him until now</span> (its recently been proven). i consider myself Jewish but nothing like the black Israelites, its just a cultural thing. most of the Jews in the Caribbean are of Sephardi descent. Just dropping some history for the gentiles.

I doubt very much he's jewish but anything is possible.
Who are these gentiles you speak of? Black Jamaicans are not gentiles.

i assume you are speaking of through his father's lineage, but could easily be through his mother's;
many ethnic groups have come to jamaica and it is not a startling thing that any number of jamaicans could possibly have 'jewish ancestry' as jewish signifies a religion and not a race...there are jews of different races and there are african jews in ethiopia and south africa that trace their lineage to ancient times

No matter his race or religion. He may or may not have been jewish, but he certainly was a prophet.
