She hasn't had any visitors as far as I know.
My implication is she was being raped by the prison guards.

Not necessarily. A Mexican singer got intentionally pregnant in prison, a few years ago, so that she could receive privileges including an early release.Comment

I got my former Laotian banker fired last year cause of how she try to flex with me.
Someone said the same thing but I didnt take it to heart.....just made sure she lost her job instead.Comment

Yeah,but whatever the full hundred is it`s doubtful if it concerns her doing legitimate business in the country.
I have no sympathy for this girl,she knew what she was doing,and fully understood the risks,..if she didnt then she deserves some jail time for stupidity.
The only tragedy for me here is the way in which other countries` judicial system are painted as backward and barbaric whenever it`s a brit,or an american that are incarcerated in that country,...it`s assumed that these poor innocent little souls couldnt possibly be guilty,they must be the victim of a frame up..........Bollocks !Comment

That's exactly what I thought when I read about it......
That poor girl, she must be living in a nightmare right now.....
Whatever she did, whether innocent or guilty, I still feel sympathy for her for the situation she's in. Those prisons in Asian countries must be hell on earth.....
And being raped and becoming pregnant, what a nightmare!!
Reminds me of that tv film with Nicole Kidman - I think her first, when she was still young and innocent, before she went to Hollywood and met Tom Cruise!! - it's very good. An Australian film called Bangkok Hilton
(the euphemism for the jail there).
It shows how she gets duped by a smooth-talking creep in India who hides heroin in her suitcase before she flies to Thailand.
Sure lots of women get into situations like that.....
Also, lots of women (and men) willingly and wittingly take part in a drugs transport. Loads of Dutch people in jail all over the world....even in MoBay!!!
I freaked when I zapped into a docu on her, showiing her in the jail, and her daughter coming to visit and she was allowed out and they were staying in Toby's!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought, there but for the grace of God 
go I...... 
Even more shocking it was her boyfriend of 12!! years who set her up!!!!!!
There's something like over a 100 Dutch people in jail in Dominican Republic alone!!....all that coke!
....
I mean, imagine, you get offered - dunno - 10 or 20 or 30 or 50 K for a week's holiday, all expenses paid.
To some people - especially when they've got debts - it's an easy temptation. I think it's stupid. No amount of money is worth my freedom!!!!Comment
