If we could afford to pay more we would.....but, remember, we are living off the money we earn from vacation rentals & that is a very short season. In fact, it's over now and de dollar nah flow again.

We also supply a hot meal & drink if they want & sometimes give a ride into Duncans to save them busfare.

I understand JA Jewel's point because she is paying the best she can out of the profits she earns in JA.

You on the other had want to chat about lifting up black ppl ad the rest and you are willing to help keep them down by not even paying the woman what she is worth. You admittedly said she does a good job and she can put up with a cranky old man, you can at least honor her and pay what she is asking. I am sure it isnt some ridiculous amount either. Just something she can get by on a little better.

u know one time mi hear one manager say in shock "my God,my helper get much more than that" refering to the pay her staff get and is something she could have done something about but never did. I wonder sometimes what we would really pay people if there was no minimum wage.

blu take a look at superplus website and analyse what she asking for against those prices and remember JPS bill high bad.
