Inna mi office - 2 weeks after mi start working here mi Branch Chief call me inna him office and tell me point blank "He is not your friend and you need to watch him". My deh way ahead ah him on dat. Dis likkle short, red-neck, Spotsylvania Virginia trailer park ...see yah. Anyway - yestideh mi fine out say OBO (overseas building operations - dem build embassy) is using my design for post 1 in a new embassy and my new branch chief was talking about it - you know - the good job, way-to-go, etc apparently it is a deal...oh well - chalk on up for the little jamaican chick in the place...
Mr. back and belly rat, the double-edged sword - after him stan up deh a talk bout is about time our team get some recognition for the work we do, etc, etc - mi hear him a tell a group of installers how he would like to know why I am doing designs for obo and it is not a part of my job - and I should not be allowed (yes allowed) to anything that is not IT related or outside of Diplomatic Security...
Mi know that except for a few words - no one in the office understood a word mi say - but ah goh undah di likkle red-neck runt yuh see.
I cannot stand back-stabbers - and I have been waiting a long time to put him in his place...
