I made a mistake at work...

... that cost the company two to three thousand dollars.

Thing is that at the time I kind of knew that I was making a mistake but I just shrugged it off. Now I'm wondering if it was my subconscious taking over because deep down inside I wish I didn't work there and I am hoping to get fired/laid off.

why would you hope to be fired? you wouldn't get a severance if it's with cause you know.

Not yet Rich, that will come on Tuesday when i go back.

It was my fault though. I admit it. I just didn't seem to give a rats behind at the time.

I have worked same place for 21 years without many (if any) blemishes on my record.
