30 years or however many the govt has changed and offered apologies to the persecuted and reparations to them and their offspring.

Would you as said offspring return to assist in the rebuilding?

reparations include house (nice house) land and education.

If the war has ended, I see no reason why I shouldn't return. (Nice house, land and education? Seems OK to me.)

I think it would be left up to the individual.
Maybe I would but I would have certain minimum criteria.
The Government would have to be democratic
The Economy would have to be based on a market economy with Free Education and Health Care (or working towards it).
The security forces have to be professionally trained and does not have a history of corruption.
All ethnicities have to be on equal footing.
No State sponsored terror...

Of course the above would seem to rule out Jamaica but I am basing my response on an invitation from the State and not a longing to go forward to the ancestral home.
