Corporal Punishment

Punishment has never been found effective for sustained behavioral change. But in many places we still subscribe to beating childern as an effective tool for facilitating learning? I'm not sure if it's still "legal" or practiced much in JA.

Believe it or not, it's legal in all 50 states in the US.
Incidentally, as spanking declined over the years so did graduation rates and test performance nationwide.

An article was posted only last week that reached the conclusion that spanking saved a school in <span style="font-family: 'Arial Black'">SC</span>!
