Cissy Houston, grandmother of Bobbi Kristina Brown, has revealed that Bobbi Kristina's brain damage is irreversible.
Though the 22-year-old is no longer in a medically induced coma, she remains unresponsive. Doctors say she can survive a lifetime in this condition.
Sources say she does not respond to visitors or familiar voices, and
she has a tracheostomy in her throat.
The reports come two days after Brown's father, Bobby Brown, said his daughter's condition had improved.
Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her home in the Atlanta suburb of Roswell, Georgia, on January 31.
