The police have charged two employees of the Supreme Court in downtown Kingston, Jamaica, for illegal activities in the registry of the court.
The two employees, Lori-Ann Williams and Hugh Forbes are to appear in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrates to apply for bail.
Ms. Williams was held in a sting operation at a restaurant on King Street last Wednesday after being under surveillance for more than a year.
The police escorted the Forbes from the Supreme Court building.
It’s reported that for several years a thriving business existed in which some members of the public were asked to pay for the processing of documents including divorce petitions.
