The Calgary Herald reports that Leaford Lewin, 25, has been ordered deported after serving jail time for sexual assault with a gun.
Canadian Immigration officials say Lewin will stay behind bars for the next 6 to 8 weeks, until his deportation date, as he is a flight risk with "nothing to lose."
Lewin, who just completed his four year sentence for sexually assaulting a sex trade worker in 2005, has lived in Canada with his family since he was a toddler, but does not have Canadian citizenship.
During his hearing on Wednesday, Lewin claimed he struggled with cocaine and bad company the year he was incarcerated and called his sex crime "disgusting, shameful and repulsive."
He told the court he had matured in jail, upgraded his education and worked as a carpentry apprentice.
But Canadian adjudicator Leane King said Lewin's violence had escalated behind bars and he showed no sign of wanting to be rehabilitated.( so sen him bak to Ja whe no need fi him kine a specialised learning , right yah now)..yeah rite
