Investigators in St. James are trying to ascertain whether a prominent couple who has been missing since last week may have been kidnapped.
Realtor Thomas Chambers, 63, and his wife 65-year-old Marjoke, both of Spot Valley in St. James, left home on Friday for an undisclosed location and has not been seen or heard from since.
The police in St. James are still clueless as to the possible whereabouts of Mr. and Mrs. Chambers.
<span style="font-weight: bold">Sources close to the family said there are a myriad of things that could have led to the possible kidnapping of the couple</span>.
<span style="font-weight: bold">It is alleged that Mr. Chambers is in the midst of several squabbles over land among other issues.</span>
The police have confirmed those allegations noting that there are still no strong leads.
They added that there are no indications that the couple has left the country. The couple was last seen on Friday at 5 o'clock by family members.
