Michael Jackson was killed in a plot conceived by Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

From what I heard, Michael only owned half of the Beatle's catalogue for a time in the past and that amount has dwindled down quite a bit due to his costs surrounding the problems with the &quot;abuse charges and their trials. ~ So sad if it's true...

Hestate dthat michael is not brokw and as a result of his death his estate will be more valuable than Elvis's. And I kind iof thought so before anyway.

Re: Coroner's report .. So far

TMZ were waiting outside of the L.A. County Coroner’s building, awaiting for the autopsy results of Michael Jackson, who sadly died yesterday. The L.A. County Coroner report said that more testing is needed before they can announce the true cause of death.

The coroner then went on to say that, the cause of death has now been deferred, as additional testing is needed, this includes toxicology and other tests. These could take from 4-6 weeks to complete.

The coroner then added there was “no indication of foul play” to Michael’s body, but he had been taking “some prescription medications.”

The coroner then said that Jackson was produced dead at UCLA Hospital; his body will be released at 6PM. We are not certain what the funeral arrangements will be for Michael Jackson, but fans hope that they will be able to show their respects to the legend.

Reporting from New York -- The obit material was ready. All anyone had to do was push the button when the star died, and the world would know.

There was just one problem: It was the wrong star who died suddenly, throwing entertainment journalists and publications dedicated to all things celebrity into overdrive as they scrambled to cover the unexpected death of Michael Jackson, just hours after Farrah Fawcett had lost her battle with cancer.

For weekly magazines such as People and Us Weekly, it was a question of whether to shift deadlines to get publications on the stands earlier and add pages. For daily news organizations such as the Associated Press, the challenge was first confirming the initial reports and then stretching resources and a staff already busy with coverage of Fawcett's death.

Us Weekly's editor in chief, Janice Min, said the magazine would be adding pages but had not decided whether to publish earlier than Wednesday, its usual release day.

&quot;We're still figuring out timing and other sorts of publication tricks we could possibly use,&quot; said Min, who was on vacation in Colorado when the news broke.

OK! magazine planned to print more copies of its latest issue.

People magazine moved its deadline up to Monday from Tuesday, but a spokeswoman said the change was made to accommodate the Fourth of July holiday. The spokeswoman, Laura Frank, said editors were unable to discuss coverage plans because of the overwhelming workload facing them. She would not say whether People would put out a special edition commemorating Jackson.

Jackson's death, at age 50, just as he was planning a tour seen as a major comeback, threw even the most seasoned news organizations for a loop. Compounding the difficulty for minute-to-minute mainstream news organizations such as the Associated Press was that the first dispatch appeared on TMZ, a website that did not provide a source for its reports. Once the AP was able to confirm that Jackson had died, it sent extra reporters to Los Angeles for what is sure to be an exhaustive stretch of coverage, from the autopsy results to the funeral to the global reaction.

&quot;TMZ is an AP customer and a good customer, but that report did not meet our standards for putting something on the AP wire,&quot; the news organization's vice president and managing editor for entertainment news, Lou Ferrara, said Friday. Ferrara said it took the AP &quot;a good chunk of time in the span of the Internet world&quot; -- i.e. several minutes -- to confirm the report. Then, it was a question of pulling together material on the superstar who, unlike Fawcett, had not been considered likely to pass away.

&quot;Most of us were prepared for Farrah Fawcett. We'd seen that coming for a while, so we were prepped and ready,&quot; Ferrara said. &quot;The Jackson story certainly took everyone's breath away rather quickly.&quot;

At a time when news organizations are cutting back on coverage in places such as Iraq, the amount of reporting and money being thrown at the coverage of Jackson is sure to raise questions about media priorities. Editor &amp; Publisher magazine's editor in chief, Greg Mitchell, said he had put the question of whether the media are overplaying Jackson's death to readers on the magazine's website. By Friday morning, the overwhelming majority of respondents said the story was overblown.

Mitchell said he would have expected Ray Charles, Paul Newman and other celebrities to rank as much publicity, but acknowledged that the coverage of Jackson was a reflection of the younger ages of most editors overseeing celebrity coverage, whom he referred to as &quot;sub-boomers,&quot; as opposed to baby boomers. The unexpected nature of Jackson's death also plays a role in the overwhelming coverage, he said.

Despite this, Mitchell said, he questioned the judgment of magazines that might churn out extra issues laden with fond farewells for a man who, whatever his fame and talent, had been accused of heinous crimes against children and had publicly dangled his baby off a hotel balcony.

&quot;The coverage makes you a bit uncomfortable,&quot; he said. &quot;This guy was possibly a bad guy. You strip away everything else and say he was a weirdo, that's one thing. But if you have this overlay of his personal habits or possible illegal things in the past, that's a whole other thing.&quot;
