LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) — Singer Michael Jackson took more than 10 Xanax pills a night — asking his employees to get the prescription sleep medicine under their names and also personally traveling to doctor’s offices in other states to obtain them, said a confidential document from 2004 that CNN obtained Thursday.

The document from the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department contains confidential interviews conducted with two of Jackson’s former security guards as officials prepared for Jackson’s child molestation trial in 2005.

The singer was acquitted after the 14-week trial. But the information about the sleeping pills — and the lengths Jackson went to get them — adds to a growing mountain of claims tying the insomniac singer to drugs in recent days.

Los Angeles police Chief William Bratton said Thursday detectives have spoken to a number of doctors who have treated Jackson over the years, and are looking into the singer’s prescription drug history.<span style="font-weight: bold">

Doctors who did not cooperate with investigators were issued subpoenas, a source told CNN Thursday. If needed, authorities will issue more, the source said.</span>

Saw on CNN where it is said that the police also removed bottles of pills with no name on them; indicating the possibility that the drugs were obtained by prescription for someone else then passed on to MJ..

Actually I heard he had about 150 surgeries done...something very excessive and obviously was NOT indicated. Told by a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend...hiff yuh git dah jrift.


No reputable plastic surgeon would stoop so low as to turn this handsome guy into such a caricature; and which *I* am going to imply was done primarily <span style="font-weight: bold">for the love of money only.</span> If any reputable doctor has his/her patient's interest/well being at heart, no way in hell would they condone/encourage this insatiable need for &quot;surgery&quot; on their patient. MJ's interest clearly was not a priority or he/she, di docktah, would have stopped when he did look acceptable.


Even if the patient insisted, <span style="font-style: italic">whoeva that docktah is or docktors are</span> professional WISDOM, ethics and morals should have prevailed. They should cue into the patient's behaviour, and even go as far as to question the mental status of the patient and why a person would want excessive surgeries..... be so bold as to suggest severing the patient/doctor relationship, and suggest that he finds someone else to do it...[in other words everybody refusing to perform such &quot;surgery.&quot;]

<span style="font-weight: bold">So, TG, to allay any concern, it is appropriate to post it here, for it is dealing with MALPRACTICE</span> which is what all this this borders on.

The end result is clear evidence of that.
...and since they said that MJ allegedly wanted to be &quot;put to sleep&quot; for every minor procedure, they should also take into consideration what these anaesthetic agents would do to his liver, ie mash it up..

So as far as *I* am concerned, di whole a dem were a bunch of money hungry charlatans who saw MJ in a vulnerable condition, a confused [when it comes aawn to dem things] man, and they exploited him street and lane; and because of that their sorry arses should be brought up on charges as well...what role did the surgeries play in his alleged &quot;addiction&quot; to prescribed drugs?.

Turns out this isn't the first time Dr. Arnold Klein has resisted turning over Michael Jackson's medical records to authorities -- according to a Santa Barbara County deputy sheriff.

As we first reported, the L.A. County Coroner has requested medical records from Dr. Klein and authorities tell us he has not fully cooperated. But the same thing happened during the first child molestation investigation targeting Jackson.

We've obtained Santa Barbara Sheriff's Department documents from the 2005 Jackson prosecution. A deputy sheriff wrote an affidavit recounting that on November 19, 1993, she served a search warrant at Dr. Klein's Beverly Hills office, looking for Michael Jackson's medical records.

The deputy's affidavit says she spoke with Dr. Klein when the warrant was served. Her affidavit says, &quot;Dr. Klein said that prior to the service of the search warrant on November 19,1993, he removed Jackson's medical files from his office at Mr. Andelson's (his lawyer's) direction and kept the files in his home and car.&quot;

As for why authorities searched Klein's office -- Jackson's accuser in 1993 told authorities the singer's genital area had distinct color patterns because of vitiligo. Authorities believed Jackson may have obtained prescriptions to change the coloring of the area so the accuser's description would not match.

I guess the life and death of Micharl Jackson is going to generate stories that will get more and more incredulous. Will we just get numb? Will the tell-all books sell millions and millions? Will the volume of music and book sales single handily save the world economy?

One malpractice question I have is that if MJ was taking all these downers, and loved anesthesia so much, then where did he get the energy to dance like he did the day before he died? Meth? Were these downers just half of the drug story?

Most likely the same scenario.

Joe, Michael's Dad was on Larry King lass nite. Mi sure dat some a yuh had watched it.


Poor Joe Jackson and Leonard Rowe saying that they believe that there is foul play surrounding MJ's death.

Mr. Rowe gave a few reasons why he would lean towards that view...Mr. Jackson revealing that &quot;the doctor&quot; was working under a couple of different aliases..it doesn't get any better than this.

One would think that with all that fame and &quot;fortune&quot; they would be happy, but more and more the stories are coming out about who was or is still hooked on what.

For the little that I know, I was made to understand that some of them say that when they use drugs, they reach a new pinnacle in their ability to compose and even perform. Once this has been experienced, it is hard to go back to an earlier stage.

So they keep reaching for newer heights until they are stoned out of their minds.
