Remember that for over a century thee government of the country made laws that forbids black economic empowerment. They enacted laws in the late 60's after a lot of public broadcast of the usual bad treatment they normally mete out to blacks.
Although they enact these laws, neither the people who are supposed to enforce them or the people who are suppose to follow them accepted them as legitimate. They consider them generally 'politically correct'.
The Reason is the school books still justify the repression of blacks . So the head of MTV was not anomaly. It was the norm and in many cases still the norm, only less openly. </span>

Mainstream media does not equal WHITE media. Why do people perceive it like that and play the WHITE card to excuse the media ignoring Black people, our history, our artists, etc.?

If you were taught something to be true in school, socially in every facet of life with even the bible used to support it, especially with the fear of death if you should go against your teaching. would you just accept them to be wrong especially comming from politicians?

Ii mean the same politicians that are so infallible?

Remember that the text books that were used to support these beliefs are still in existence. there are no new scientific findings presented to support the new opposite beliefs. Not that it is not in existence.

I mean it is not used to support the new beliefs. Do you think that reasonable people would really believe these new sayings?

Especially when they make laws to force you to do them and no supporting evidence that it is right.

I saw a TV documentary about Nat King Cole; he had a very popular TV show in the sixties.

The show has to close because it couldn't get a sponsor (while Lucille Ball etc had no trouble in that department).

It has been sold to the owners of VH1 and a lot of other chanells a few years ago.

And even wghenJihnson owned it he did not own themajoroty of it either.
